Justin Sun Accuses First Digital Trust of $500 Million Misuse Through Dubai Banks
Justin Sun has publicly alleged that First Digital Trust (FDT) misappropriated $500 million via Dubai-based financial institutions. In a call for swift action, Sun urged the Dubai government to investigate and combat potential fraud and money laundering activities tied to the case.
Key executives at FDT, including CEO Vincent Chok, were named as participants in the alleged scheme. Sun identified multiple individuals—Christian Alexander Boehnke, De Lorraine Elbouef, Yai Sukonthabhund, Matthew William Brittain, and Cecilia Teresa Brittain—accusing them of funneling funds through Hong Kong’s FDT and Legacy Trust into Dubai banks such as Mashreq Bank, ADIB, Emirates NBD, and EFG.
The accusations highlight growing scrutiny over cross-border financial crimes in the crypto sector. Sun’s public demand for regulatory intervention underscores the need for stronger oversight in digital asset transactions.
